I have a new bed and I’d like to have a new look in my room. Can I use a duvet cover over my old comforter (still in good shape) to change the look?

I am shopping for a new bed set and i usually just buy a bed-in-bag but i want something of higher quality and i am noticing lots of places sell duvet covers and comforters what is the difference between them and which one do i need? Or should i get both?

I noticed that duvet covers are usually more expensive than a comforter. They are popular, so I was just wondering what the BIG difference is.

We can’t get a bed skirt under our mattress because it is too heavy to lift. Have not been able to find any bedspreads that we really like. Any other suggestions?
